About Me.
Phillips 4 county has deep roots in the community, and has long been dedicated to serving it. Phillips 4 County has intense dedication, passion, and devotion that fuels their fight for change, environmental progress and protection, and equality and justice for all. Jessica Phillips has been the voice of equality for all throughout the county, with great attention to the unrepresented LGBTQ community.
Jessica Phillips made history being the youngest woman elected to the county and most notably, the FIRST openly out LGBTQIA person ever to be elected to the board. During her time on the board, Phillips fought LGBTQIA equality, the solution of the ICE center, as well as Environmental issues and concerns within McHenry County.
She has a Masters in Public Administration, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. She also has an Associate's degree in Paralegal studies and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor law enforcement and justice administration.
She serves as secretary for the Local Lake advisory Ad-Hoc committee. She is also the content director for the KASAL PAC( a pro choice group), as well as a member of the NOW organization to name a few.
